Chapter 414 – Slavery

“You don’t have to be afraid.” Ai Mi stood in the bathtub and said, “I only want to drink a bit of your blood, then have you drink some of mines. That way we can make a new master and servant contract…”

Do you think I haven’t watched vampire movies before? You’re referring to a vampire’s embrace! You’re not a vampire just because you have pale skin and you’re sensitive to sunlight! Are there vampires who like to eat chips or drink cola as much as you? Western kids who are Chuunibyou often believe they are vampires. Well, it looks like my sister is a Chuunibyou and it’s up to her rational brother to save her.

“Something as unscientific as vampires couldn’t possibly exist.” I taught her earnestly, “And you definitely shouldn’t watch movies like Twilight because the director made homosexual vampires and werewolves…”

“I know, I know.” Ai Mi interrupted, “I was only joking, why are you acting so serious? Vampires are superstitions and only morons would believe in them.”

“Really?” I was happy my sister wasn’t a Chunni, but I had to check just in case, “Then why did you want to drink my blood?”

“Um… my mom had an African shaman as a guest once. He told us if we drink someone else’s blood and perform a special ceremony, we could turn them into an eternal slave…”

So in the end, it’s still a superstition! And it’s a ten thousand year old African superstition! Are you not satisfied even though I already said I would protect you, so you want to use witchcraft to turn me into your slave? Your desire to control is just as strong as Ai ShuQiao’s.

I strictly criticized her incorrect knowledge and way of thinking while also hinting Ai ShuQiao’s education was wrong. When dealing with people, you have to be able to put yourself in their shoes instead of trying to control them… basically I lectured her a bunch and even I found it annoying.

As expected, Ai Mi covered her ears and shouted:

“You’re so annoying! What’s so bad about becoming my slave, didn’t you say you loved me? How can you love me if you aren’t even willing to be my slave?”

“Just because you love someone, doesn’t mean you have to be their slave…”

I then turned silent. There is no doubt that Xiao Qin loves me unconditionally and I can also request anything of her. Doesn’t that mean Xiao Qin is my slave?

As for the class leader, as long as it’s her request, or even if she didn’t mention it, I would try to help her fulfill it. In that sense, I’m basically her slave, or I would at least be her number one loyal dog.

As expected, the person who falls in love first loses. Does the person who confesses their love first have to be the other ones slave for the rest of their life? No wonder a great person once said that silence is golden.

When Ai Mi saw me stay silent, she thought I was reflecting on my mistake. So she gleefully stepped out of the bathtub without even wiping the water off her body. She slung a towel over her body and wobbled back into the room.

Ai Mi plopped down face first into the sofa like a penguin, then turned around to ask me:

“Manservant, who are you planning to marry?”

“Huh?”

“Even though you love me, I can’t get married to a manservant. Or are you planning on remaining single for the rest of your life?”

My feelings towards you is only sibling love! Besides, legally, it would be impossible for the two of us to get married. I’m already under a lot of stress just being with Xiao Qin.

Seeing as I didn’t respond, Ai Mi twirled a corner of the towel and asked:

“Are you still going out with that violent girl? Even though for some reason she started buttering up to me, I still think she’s too sly and not suitable to be your wife.”

“Um….” I couldn’t really answer that question considering I had almost pushed Xiao Qin down an hour earlier.

“How about getting married to Winnie?”

“Pffft. What, why Winnie?”

Ai Mi spoke in a matter-of-fact tone: “Because I like Winnie. Didn’t you say you love me? Are you not going to accept a marriage your loved one arranged for you?”

Do you think you’re an imperial princess who has the rights to arrange a marriage for me? Xiong YaoYue still believes I’m a homosexual, so if you proposed a marriage, she would think it’s a fake marriage so I could blend into society and fool my parents.

Of course, if you give enough money, Xiong YaoYue might be blinded by greed and actually marry me. She would feel proud and think she was helping a friend since it’s a fake marriage. But she would regret it on the wedding night when we’re on the same bed and she find out the truth.

Since Qing Zi Academy had a dormitory, they closed the main gates at 10 and increased security for students entering and leaving. So I said farewell to Ai Mi after chatting for a bit.

Ai Mi sat on the sofa swaying her feet back and forth. It was a rare occurrence for her to tell me to pay attention on my way back. Apparently there were a few handsome boys from Qing Zi Academy who were sexually assaulted by a perverted girl at night.

Damn, this world is becoming more and more dangerous. Would this pervert be the school doctor, Chen YingRan, or members of the Rose Group?

“Oh right.” Ai Mi asked before I left, “Manservant, do you know where Peng TouSi hides the keys to the control room?”

“Eh, I don’t know, why do you want it?”

“Of course I want to see what he has locked up. If I discover any video of my room, then I can calculate where the cameras are hidden based on its angle and positioning.”

“It’s a good idea, but Peng TouSi is careful and wouldn’t just leave the keys laying around.”

Ai Mi grinned and winked at me, “That’s why I need to manservant to ‘seduce’ him.”

No way. What if I accidentally falling down the rabbit hole and actually becoming a homosexual?

As I walked out to the VIP building’s courtyard, Obama had finished his steak, so he got closer to me and even wanted to go home with me. He completely threw away his dignity just to try and get some more food.

I returned home and laid down on the bed that might be Su Qiao’s bed starting this weekend. A lot was running through my mind and I had a hard time falling asleep. I thought about what I would say to Xiao Qin tomorrow or what Auntie Ren’s kid should be named. In the end, I had to hit the punching bag over three hundred times before I finally was tired enough to sleep.

On Wednesday morning, the first person I saw as I entered class 2-3 was the class leader.

She didn’t say anything when she saw me, but pulled out a dollar bill from her pockets and handed it to me.

“Huh, what’s this?”

“I’m returning your money. Did you forget you bought a bottle of water for me yesterday?”

I already forgot about it, but she still remembered… how trustworthy.

Xiao Qin only ran into class as the first lesson was about to start. She wasn’t able to say anything to me before the class started.

The language teacher was going to do a spot check on the homework he assigned for yesterday. I prayed to god he wouldn’t pick me and I sneaked a glance at Xiao Qin.

She had her eyes closed and her hands together in a prayer.

So, she forgot to do her homework too. Not sure if Auntie Ren felt better after eating the canned haw yesterday. Did Xiao Qin also lose sleep last night? If Auntie Ren gave birth, will Xiao Qin be a good sister…?

Ah, what am I thinking? I have to hurry and show more sincerity in my prayer! Over half the class is probably praying right now and I have to show my sincerity!

Old man Zhang called on a male student from the front row to read his work out. Both me and Xiao Qin breathed out in relief.

But when the boy stood up, his desk suddenly split into two! All his textbooks and materials in his desk were scattered on the ground.

Damn, isn’t that the desk Xiao Qin gripped in a fit of anger after I complimented Gong CaiCai?

Old man Zhang was shocked, but he still picked up the class roster and called another student to read their work. Unfortunately, I was the one who was chosen.

In the end, Xiao Qin still screwed me over.
