Chapter 76 – Emergency Hiding Place

The class leader’s words were quite tempting, and I was a bit moved.

I knew that letting a bad student become a P.E. committee member was a common tactic the head teacher used.

Class leader, are you trying to recruit me!

“Teach… the headteacher!”

She held her hands behind her back, and looked straight forward, like she was the leader of this cafe. She was led by a young man and sat on a platform for two by the window, no more than 10 meters away from us. The young man sat across the headteacher with a smile.

I took a closer look, isn’t this young man Xing Xing? How did this fool get entangled with our headteacher?

I concentrated to hear what they were saying.

Xing Xing said: “Auntie, look at your sister’s store, isn’t the decor nice?”

The headteacher snorted, “It’s so so!”

Eh? The headteacher was Xing Xing’s aunt? So this cafe was opened by the headteacher’s sister? No wonder she was acting so arrogantly here!

Xing Xing said again: “Auntie, I think the rain’s going to let up soon. You should sit here for a while, and drink some tea. I have to go to the bathroom.”

After that, he walked towards the bathroom.

Only the headteacher remained on the platform. She held a teacup in one hand while carefully observing the customers around her.

I seemed loyal, but it was because the headteacher does not dare to offend me anyway.

The class leader was even more anxious.

“If the headteacher asked me why I crawled under the table, how would I respond?”

“Just blame me! That I told you to crawl under!”

The class leader was silent for a while.

“Ye Lin, do you want to watch the world burn?”

“Why would I listen to you? Why would I crawl just because you told me to?”
