“Cute right now? … So are you saying I’m not cute usually?” Claire stopped her fist that was heading for his stomach and held it in front of his face. She clenched her fists tightly until her bones cracked like she was warning him to watch his words!

“Because I don’t look good… I’m ugly, aren’t I?”
“No, you’re not ugly, you’re very cute.”
“Bastard, making fun of me again! You always treat me like an idiot… how could I be cute right now!?”
Claire bit her lips and stared at her ugly red-faced appearance in the mirror. Now Lin Xiao would never see her as a woman! With that kind of realization, her feelings dropped but then she heard a warm voice…
“As your knight, of course, I would think you’re cute.”
Along with his mutter, she felt a warmth on her cheek.
That feeling was wet and warm…
