This sword was too quick and fierce, and all four of them were sent flying into the wall and suffered severe internal injuries.
“Puh! … H-he sent us flying with one swing, how is that possible???”
Shelley spat out a mouthful of blood and laid powerlessly on the ground. She had originally thought that there wasn’t much of a difference between them, so she set a trap, but she never expected for him to be that much stronger!
“Could it be…”
The explosions, the hidden arrows and the fatal sword, when everything stopped, the dust also settled.
Her premonition was fulfilled.
That burly man stood with his back against the entrance and pointed his sword towards Shelley. He swung the sword to shake off the blood and then shouldered it again with a smug expression.
“The traps were ineffective on him, impossible… is this a joke!?”
Shelley leaned against the wall and just barely stood herself up, but she had no more courage to fight.
Even though their traps were successfully set off and injured quite a bit of them, the problem was that their leader was completely untouched!
Shelley could clearly see that he simply used his aura to protect his body while swinging his sword.
How could he be that strong!?
If she knew ahead of time, she would have destroyed the letter and then killed themselves… but now it was too late!
“Bastard! Were you hiding your strength?”
“You finally noticed… hehe, that’s right! I didn’t use my full strength, otherwise, you all would have been dead already!”
“But… why? Were you afraid of us destroying the letter?”
“No, you’re overthinking it… the reason I hid my strength was simply because I wanted you alive, my dear Shelley, hehe.”
He laughed as he spoke and walked towards her defenselessly.
“You can’t escape anyways, if I used all my strength to cut you up, that would be such a shame. Isn’t it much more convenient to trap you all in this cave?”
“More convenient? … W-what are you planning?”
“Hehe, didn’t I already tell you earlier… miss Shelley, as long as you hand over the letter and then do something that feels good with us, then we won’t kill you, hehe…”
“How shameless! I won’t let you humiliate second lieutenant Shelley! … Brothers, get him!!”
Before he could finish his perverse words, Shelley’s teammates were completely angered and couldn’t endure this arrogant bastard anymore, so when he approached, the three of them leaped towards him to try and decapitate him!

“N-no!”

“No!!!”
Her echo reverberated in the cave, but her three other teammates couldn’t respond anymore.

He sighed while calculating his wicked scheme and looked at Shelley like he was looking at a rowdy child. He raised his sword reluctantly to shut her up.
But suddenly, there was a set of footsteps at the cave entrance!
“There’s someone there!?”
He thought it was Shelley’s reinforcements, so when he swung he was distracted and missed Shelley. He only hit her sword and split it in half and sent her flying.
“Who is it?”
When he saw Shelley hit the wall and collapse, he knew she wasn’t a threat anymore and prepared to welcome the enemy behind him!
But when they walked in, they were all stunned.
“Are you guys done fighting?”
They finally clearly saw their appearance, it was a boy and girl that was around 16, the boy had black hair and eyes and didn’t seem like he was from here. That girl was even strange as she had red eyes and silver hair! She was currently staring at them like she was looking at a bunch of dirty insects.
Wait, why was she acting so arrogant? You’re just a maid, so what’s with that face!?
They soon realized that girl was wearing a beautiful maid outfit with a smoking hot body.
But… why was there a beautiful maid in the middle of nowhere? Also, who’s that kid with dark eye circles that look like he’s been drained?
At first, they thought it was Shelley’s reinforcements, but now they couldn’t tell at all.
“Uh… why are you not saying anything? Was my question hard to answer?”
“Hey kid, who are you?”
“Me? I’m just passing by and came here because we got lost… don’t worry.”
The youth smiled as he responded while peeking into the cave and saw that bloodied woman kneeling on the floor. Shelley also saw him and when their eyes met, they were both stunned.
The youth was shocked to find that his guess was actually wrong…
He never expected it to be such a desperate fight, and it seems like it was one-sided, it wasn’t just that girl in the pool of blood, but her companions also had a gruesome death. It didn’t seem like an internal mercenary conflict, but a premeditated slaughter!
But… cough, that had nothing to do with him. Everyone knows his principles of minding his own business.
He had wanted to get them to lead them out, but now he just wanted to get out of this mess!
But… something unexpected happened.
“Hey kid, stop wasting time and run!”
“Eh?”
Before he could slip away, Shelley cried out to him!
