Claire felt the warmth from her cheek and went numb. She could only stare at him in a daze.
He stood behind her and picked up the wet towel on the table. Then he held her chin so that she wouldn’t move and used the other hand to gently wipe her face.
Unlike Claire’s rough movements, he was much more careful and he wiped her face very gently until her face went back to normal.
Claire sat and Lin Xiao stood, Claire had a dazed expression while Lin Xiao’s eyes were full of affection.
